The Albert Schweizer Haus, the Lutheran event center with integrated student dormitories, was built in the late sixties as an annex to the remains of the largely destroyed baroque Garrison Church in Vienna’s Ninth District. As part of its general refurbishment, the building has been upgraded, both structurally and in terms of safety features. The general comfort level of the dormitories has also been improved and new apartments added through conversion of the attic level.
The residence now accommodates 177 students, in a variety of different apartment formats, some of them accessible to disabled students.

Completion: October 2007
