Under the title Projekt Zukunft, or Project Future, we drew up the master plan and building design as part of the restructuring of the entire hospital. The first main component of this plan was a new administration building to the south-west of the hospital. The transitional building houses the existing internal medicine II, diagnostic and interventional radiology and occupational health departments. The cube-shaped new building reflects the basic three-storey module in the master plan. Despite the limited budget, it was completed in just 16 months, and represents the latest in construction and medical technology.

Date of completion: 2010
