The prospects for reunification of the Englischer Garten in Munich are good.

Due to the enormous interest of Munich citizens in the Park Tunnel and reunification of the Englischer Garten, a dedicated information pavilion, designed and built by Nickl & Partner Architekten AG, has been open at the park’s Seehaus since 24 July 2015.

A model, which vividly shows how a reunited Englischer Garten would look, is on display in the pavilion. Everyone is invited to view the model in detail. Daily opening hours are 3:00 pm to 6 pm.

Dr Hans Jochen Vogel (former mayor of Munich), Dr Lutz Spandau (chairman of the Allianz Environmental Foundation) and Werner Lederer-Piloty (Schwabing-Freimann district board chairman) spoke at the pavilion opening on 24 July.
