Construction ministers’ planning guidelines commend three innovative projects by Nickl & Partner
An annual conference of German state and federal construction ministers in January 2014 adopted a set of planning guidelines that had been approved by the state building construction committee. These were based on practical experience in selected states, and can be used as models for a variety of planning issues.
One of the guidelines, on operations departments and functional specifications, cites three projects by Nickl & Partner Architekten:
– The new Ulm University neurosurgery clinic at Günzburg District Hospital
– The new Hamburg-Eppendorf University Hospital
– The two-stage centralisation of core functions and treatment at KRH Klinikum Nordstadt, a hospital in Hannover
