In immediate vicinity to Düsseldorf’s Volksgarten, a new research building is being built on the site of the Leibniz Research Institute for Environmental Medicine (Institut für umweltmedizinische Forschung – IUF). The IUF specialises in molecular preventive medical research of environmentally-induced disorders and contributes significantly to the development of preventive strategies for improved health care. In addition to an expansive research area and an integrated technical area, the new building will also provide a generous office and administrative space. In particular, our personal demand for flexibility and communication were design factors for the floor plan conception.
