Nickl & Partner’s design was awarded 1st prize and subsequently commissioned. The lecture hall centre is conceived as a central place for teaching, exchange and interaction within the new science district. Alongside the formal teaching spaces, communication areas and informal learning environments play a key role. An open and welcoming building structure strengthens connections across the campus and creates a variety of spaces for collaborative learning and university life.
