Invited by the Rector of Udayana University, Mr. Ketut Suastika MD, Magnus Nickl proudly introduced a group of senior lectures and students to the methodology of Nickl & Partner and presented the latest hospital projects.
During his presentation, Mr Nickl pointed out that Nickl & Partner achieves to deliver modern healthcare buildings that enhance the patient experience and the working environment for staff members by following certain key principles. Understanding the clients and patients demands are crucial in the development of an architectural proposal, while the focus of attention has to lie on the human being. Despite the strong emphasis on functionality, hospitals should not be anonymous entities, but buildings where patients can heal and recover from their illness. A building that supports sick people and their relatives during hard times, that gives hope. Outlined by Mr Nickl as a commitment architects should oblige to, these guidelines will help to achieve the best possible project.
