World Architecture Festival 2025

Excellent news from Miami

On 14 November, we presented our Baden Cantonal Hospital project at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) in Miami and are delighted to announce that we won in the ‘Health’ category!
The WAF is the world’s largest architecture festival with a unique live judging format, where teams present their projects in person to an international jury.

The new KSB building is a special project for us: it combines healing architecture with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable construction. Digitalisation and intelligent control systems are at the heart of the project: over 7,000 IoT sensors and BIM-based processes make the hospital particularly efficient, connected and future-oriented.

Sustainability is an integral part of the new building: geothermal energy, wood energy and regional materials such as silver fir wood from the Baden forest characterise the resource-saving concept.
