Opening of LEAP in Penzberg
With the opening of LEAP in Penzberg, Roche is sending a strong signal for the future of diagnostics. The research building we designed on the Roche campus was officially inaugurated on February 12, 2026, in the presence of Minister President Markus Söder.
Two distinct worlds (office west, laboratory east) are connected by a 33-meter-high, light-flooded atrium: bridges, visual connections, and a forum on the ground floor make encounters and interdisciplinary exchange part of the daily routine.
The hybrid timber construction brings warmth and identity to the working environments – and is complemented by a high-precision laboratory structure that supports speed, accuracy, and efficient processes.
