The Ernst & Sohn Special ‘Healthcare Buildings 2026’ explores current developments and challenges in the design of modern healthcare buildings. Alongside functionality and economic efficiency, the publication focuses on Healing Architecture, sustainability, flexible building structures, and the well-being of patients and staff.
We are represented by the University Heart and Vascular Centre at UKE in Hamburg. The new building combines the complex functional requirements of a highly specialised heart and vascular centre with clear spatial organisation and an architectural design that supports intuitive wayfinding and interaction.
