The ceremonial opening of the new Universitäres Herz- und Gefäßzentrum des Universitätsklinikums Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) last week marked a major milestone for healthcare, research, and academic medicine.
We were pleased to celebrate this special milestone together with distinguished representatives from politics, academia, medicine, and the planning community. Among the honored guests were Hamburg’s First Mayor, Dr. Peter Tschentscher, Senator Maryam Blumenthal, and State Councillor Eva Gümbel.
